A human body is made of 5 elements
1. Sky,
2. Fire,
3. Earth,
4. Air,
5. Water
Today, We will learn about one of the most essential elements of the human body; Water
Water is a very vital nutrient for every cell of the human body, it's like a shock absorber for the brain, spinal cord, and fetus. If we talk about the human body, up to 60% of it is made of water, and the most vital part of your body, your brain, and heart is 73% water. you can't survive more than a few days without water.
So now the question stays, how many glasses of water should one drink in a day. Most of the experts, nutritionists, and even some doctors will suggest you, to drink about 8 glasses of water a day. But we must remember that our body needs water to function properly not to flood it with water. In my personal opinion and with my own experience I would suggest that you must hydrate your body early in the morning and then let your body send you the signal for water, signal is simply known as thirst.
However, as some people are too busy with the daily routines that they are not aware of the optimal time to drink water?
So, today for the busy bees of our community we will learn about the best time to drink water in a day to maximize its benefits -
Hydrate Your Mornings - After a good night's sleep your body might be dehydrated, So start your day with hydrating your mornings. Drink at least 2 glasses of lukewarm water after waking up to help activate your internal organs. This will also help in removing toxins from your body.
10 Minutes Before Shower - A glass of water before for a shower can help in stabilizing or lowering your blood pressure.
Help your digestion before a meal - Now, you have removed or at least reduced the toxins in your body. Drink one glass of water 1 hour to 45 minutes before a meal, this will help you with digestion. If you will drink water right before a meal or even 30 minutes before a meal it will not be helpful for your body and might dilute the digestive juices. One more thing to remember, not to drink water after the meal. You should wait for at least 1 hour 45 minutes after the meal to allow the body to absorb the nutrients. If there is an urgent need of drinking something after a meal than you can have 1/2 cup of lemon juice in lukewarm water.
1-2 Hours Before Bedtime - A glass of lukewarm water an hour before bedtime might help you with any fluid loss and even a healthy good night's sleep.
